Programs Support Manager
While at Digital Opportunity Trust as the Programs Support Manager for 6 years; I recruited, trained and mentored 70 young adults (interns) to use innovative, participatory, and community oriented learning experiences. These in turn trained 8800 youth and women with entrepreneurship and ICT skills improving livelihoods in rural communities. In this role I established operational relationships with 20 community partners, engaged in proposal writing and fundraising, as well as monitoring and evaluation; where I carried out project needs assessment, developed relevant field surveys as well as collected and analyzed data for project impact assessment.

Managed, coached and mentored 70 interns from recruitment, training, and field deployment.
Carried out training of trainers (TOT) sessions for the interns to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge for organizational trainings implementation in using innovative, participative, and community oriented learning experiences. These in turn trained 8800 youth and women with entrepreneurship and ICT skills improving livelihoods in rural communities.
Supervised the interns’ field performance and gave them support in order to meet the organizational objectives.
Carried out entrepreneurship and business skills training for 100 young people to start and grow their businesses as well as resource mobilization & fundraising.
Established operational relationships with 20 strategic community partners including but not limited to local government, NGOs and funding partners.
Organized gender capacity building sessions and focused group discussions. I took lead on gender equality training & integration in organizational work..
Monitoring and Evaluation: Created baseline and review surveys as well as collected and analyzed data for all the projects implemented in the previous 6 years.
Fundraising and proposal writing: Identified funding opportunities and secured two successful funded proposals.
Supported over 500 farmer house-holds in Arua, Gulu and Nwoya to receive Agribusiness training and access to market for their farm produce.
